Pepe and Antonio Tapia discovered their love for the restaurant industry after spending many years together learning classic Italian cuisine. In 1999, they opened their first Italian pizzeria located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Twenty years and many amazing customers later, the Tapia brothers decided to embark on a new adventure. They fell in love with the quaint, family oriented town of Middletown, where they met Ann Miller. Ann introduced them to the building that formerly housed Ingalls Lumber, where she dreamt of creating a destination in Middletown. After several years of planning and excavating, the old building was beautifully transformed to the Tapia brother’s newest restaurant, Tapia’s on Main.
The whole Tapia family is honored to be a part of the wonderfully close-knit community of Middletown. Their menu features some of the family’s most popular dishes. as well as new creations, such as a selection of signature brick-oven pizzas, pastas, paninis, house-crafted cocktails, and local wines. Pepe and Antonio have always strived to develop a close relationship with their guests, and look forward to welcoming the community of Middletown to Tapia’s on Main.
